Returns and Refunds

We sincerely hope you are delighted with any products your order from Christopher Courtney, but should you wish to return an item or unfortunately have discovered a fault, please find below the next steps you need to take.

Faulty goods
If any items your purchase from are faulty or develop a fault at any time within 12 months of purchase, please send us details of the problem via our Contact form and we will get back to you within three (3) working days – though we aim to be quicker (we open 9am to 5pm GMT, Monday to Friday excluding UK public holidays). We will refund the cost of any faulty product or we will replace it free of charge.

Within seven (7) days of receipt of your order, you may return any unused items for a full refund. Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from Goods must be completely unused, unopened, undamaged and in a saleable condition.

The UK’s Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations require that you provide written notice of cancellation (i.e. you wish to return the goods) within seven (7) working days. Goods do not have to be returned within this period for you to secure a refund. A refund must be made to you within thirty (30) days of your written notice of cancellation, irrespective of whether goods have been returned by you to us at this stage. However if goods have not been returned, where requested by us, we are entitled to make a charge to reflect the cost of collecting goods from the delivery address and deduct this from the refund payable to you. So obviously it makes sense to return them to us as soon as possible.

To return an item, please wrap your goods securely and please include our original packing slip or a print out of the original sales email with your return. If you do not have your packing slip / email, please indicate the order number on a separate piece of paper. We would appreciate it if you could tell us the reason for returning an item as it helps us improve our service, but this is entirely optional.

For your protection, we recommend that you use an insured recorded delivery option for shipment of the item to us. Please note that we can only refund shipping costs if the return is a result of our error or if you are returning a faulty product.

We will notify you via email of your refund (see Returns information above) and we aim to do this within seven (7) working days. Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error or a faulty product.
